MAGDALEN SUTTON

Magdalen Nursery, Sutton is probably one of the most unique settings in London. This beautifully converted church has become a haven for children to express themselves, explore and play. With 4 classrooms designed with the children in mind and an array of bespoke features both inside and outside.

Our vibrant baby room is a safe haven for up to six children a day. This rooms natural lighting, soft furnishings and size ensures our babies feel at home when in our care. 

The incredible main hall is a treehouse themed space with dedicated Art areas, a Construction Zone and a beautiful library. Children have the freedom to play and express their interests freely in the expansive open space with child height resources available and stimulating areas and activities set up at all times. The hall is a place of wonder and awe and has to be seen to be believed.

Upstairs, our unique preschool classroom is home to all of our children who are preparing for “big school” with a slightly more structured approach to promote school readiness. We still learn through play, of course, but we place emphasis on independence, subjects and topics which are more interesting to children approaching school age and that support their interests and requests.
